For example, when you connect Google Calendar, we may receive calendar information and authorization credentials required to provide calendar synchronization and scheduling features.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Register users, authenticate accounts, and maintain account security;
- Process subscriptions, credits, billing, refunds, and payment-related workflows;
- Enable course creation, delivery, enrollment, communication, scheduling, and progress tracking;
- Process AI and media generation requests initiated by users;
- Provide customer support and respond to questions or requests;
- Communicate important service, security, billing, and account updates;
- Monitor performance, diagnose errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the Service;
- Analyze how the Service is used and develop new or improved functionality;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or other data protection laws, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: processing necessary to provide the Service you requested;
- Consent: processing based on permission you have provided, including connecting an optional third-party integration;
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, supporting, and improving the Service;
- Legal obligations: processing required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests.
4. Google User Data and Google Calendar Integration
Proftoon allows users to connect their Google Calendar account through Google OAuth. Connecting Google Calendar is optional and occurs only after the user explicitly grants the requested permissions through Google's authorization interface.
Google data we access
Depending on the permissions granted by the user, Proftoon may access the following Google Calendar information:
- A list of calendars available in the connected Google account;
- Calendar identifiers, names, descriptions, time zones, and related calendar metadata;
- Free and busy time intervals required to determine the user's availability;
- Calendar event information required to create, view, update, or delete events initiated through Proftoon;
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain the authorized connection.
How we use Google user data
Google Calendar data is used only to provide user-facing calendar and scheduling functionality requested by the user, including:
- Displaying the calendars available for connection;
- Checking free and busy time to determine available booking periods;
- Preventing bookings during periods when the user is unavailable;
- Creating calendar events for lessons, meetings, bookings, or other activities scheduled through Proftoon;
- Updating or deleting calendar events when the corresponding booking or activity is changed or cancelled in Proftoon;
- Maintaining synchronization between Proftoon and the connected Google Calendar.
Proftoon does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, marketing profiling, credit decisions, surveillance, or purposes unrelated to the calendar features requested by the user.
Proftoon does not sell Google user data.
Sharing of Google user data
Google user data is not shared with third parties except when necessary to:
- Provide and maintain the Google Calendar integration;
- Operate secure hosting, database, authentication, monitoring, and technical infrastructure used by Proftoon;
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
- Protect the security, rights, and safety of Proftoon, our users, or others.
Service providers that process Google user data on our behalf may use that data only to perform services for Proftoon and must protect it in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Storage and protection of Google user data
OAuth tokens and related integration data may be stored securely so that the Google Calendar connection can continue to operate without requiring the user to authorize access every time the Service is used.
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Google user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
Access to Google user data within Proftoon is limited to the systems, service providers, and authorized personnel that require such access to operate, maintain, secure, or support the integration.
Retention and deletion of Google user data
We retain Google OAuth tokens and Google Calendar integration data only for as long as necessary to provide the connected calendar functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
A user may disconnect Google Calendar through the relevant account or integration settings in Proftoon. After the integration is disconnected, Proftoon will stop making new requests to the user's Google Calendar.
Users may also revoke Proftoon's access through their Google Account security and third-party access settings.
When access is disconnected or revoked, stored OAuth tokens associated with the integration will be deleted or invalidated within a reasonable period, except where limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance with legal obligations.
Disconnecting Google Calendar does not necessarily delete events that were previously created in the user's calendar. Users may delete such events directly through Google Calendar or through Proftoon where that functionality is available.
To request deletion of Google integration data associated with a Proftoon account, contact funMagister@gmail.com.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Proftoon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers: companies that help us host infrastructure, store data, authenticate users, process payments, deliver AI functionality, send communications, monitor performance, and provide customer support;
- Course participants: masters, teachers, students, and other authorized participants where shared access is necessary for course content, communication, scheduling, or progress tracking;
- Legal and safety recipients: authorities, advisers, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent abuse;
- Business transfer recipients: parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
We do not sell personal information.
6. International data transfers
Proftoon and its service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where the user resides.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate measures designed to protect personal information during international transfers, such as contractual safeguards or other approved transfer mechanisms.
7. Data retention

- Provide and maintain the Service;
- Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;
- Maintain account and transaction records;
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations;
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements;
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the functionality being used, the user's relationship with Proftoon, and applicable legal requirements.

9. Account and data deletion
Users may request deletion of their Proftoon account and associated personal information by contacting funMagister@gmail.com.
A deletion request should include the email address associated with the account and sufficient information to verify the request.
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account within a reasonable period, except for information we must retain to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, or enforce agreements.

Masters, teachers, and course administrators are responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required by applicable law and for ensuring they have an appropriate legal basis for collecting and processing student information through their courses.
If you believe that personal information relating to a child has been collected without appropriate authorization, contact funMagister@gmail.com.
We will review the request and take appropriate action, which may include restricting access to or deleting the relevant information.
