Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for charges processed through the Proftoon platform ("Service"). It applies to master subscription fees billed by Proftoon. Course purchases made directly between a master and a student are handled separately by the master, as described below.

1. Master subscription plans
Paid master plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through PayPal. When you subscribe, you authorize recurring charges according to the plan selected at checkout, including any applicable promotional discount for the current billing period.
2. Free and demo plans
The Demo plan and other free offerings do not involve payment and are not eligible for refunds.
3. Subscription refunds
We may approve a refund for a master subscription charge if:
- You were charged in error or billed twice for the same period;
- A technical issue on our side prevented meaningful use of paid features during the billing period;
- You cancel within 7 days of your first paid subscription charge and have not substantially consumed paid credits or generated paid AI/media operations beyond reasonable trial use.
Refund eligibility is reviewed case by case. Approved refunds are typically issued to the original payment method through PayPal.
4. Non-refundable items
The following are generally not refundable:
- Monthly subscription fees after the 7-day first-payment window, except where required by law;
- Platform credits or tokens that have already been consumed;
- Charges for AI, image, speech, or video operations already completed;
- Partial-month subscription periods after cancellation, unless required by applicable law;
- Promotional or discounted charges where the discount terms stated that the purchase was non-refundable.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a paid master subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless a refund is approved under this Policy.
After cancellation, you may retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, unless we state otherwise at the time of cancellation.
6. Course purchases between masters and students
When a student pays a master for access to a course, that transaction is between the student and the master. Proftoon provides tools to facilitate payment requests and records, but we are not the seller of the course content.
Refund requests for course purchases must be directed to the master who offered the course. Masters are responsible for setting their own refund rules and complying with consumer protection laws in their jurisdiction.
If you are unable to resolve a course payment dispute with a master, you may contact us at funMagister@gmail.com. We may, at our discretion, help facilitate communication but we are not obligated to issue refunds for third-party course sales.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with PayPal or your bank without first contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us with:
- Your account email address;
- The date and amount of the charge;
- The PayPal transaction or subscription ID, if available;
- A brief explanation of the reason for the request.
We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds may take additional time to appear depending on PayPal and your financial institution.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Changes apply to future purchases unless otherwise required by law.
